Frequently asked questions
How do player registrations work?
Every confirmed registration counts toward your annual total — regardless of how many events you run. Your counter resets on your renewal date each year. There are no per-registration fees; upgrade or contact us if you need more capacity.
What counts as a registration?
A confirmed, paid player registration counts as one registration. Waitlisted players don't count until they're confirmed. If a player cancels and receives a refund, that registration is returned to your pool.
What if I go over my limit mid-event?
We never interrupt a live event. There are no per-registration fees. Upgrade or contact us to choose the right subscription capacity for future registrations.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Are there any platform transaction fees?
No. FairwayOS takes 0% of registration revenue on every plan — Starter, Pro, Enterprise, and Custom. Player payments route directly to your own Stripe account. Standard Stripe processing costs still apply.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your event history, player data, and results pages remain accessible for 90 days after cancellation. After that, you can request a full data export before anything is deleted.
Do participants need a FairwayOS account?
No. Participants interact with your branded event page — they never see FairwayOS. Account creation is optional and under your brand.
Is there a free trial?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required.
